Ridgeway Primary School Gates 2009
The design is based on a section through a tree, this symbolises growth,
which is exactly what the children are doing whilst at school growing
physically & mentally. The text was generated by the children themselves
& is based on what they enjoy doing most at school. I feel that it is important that they have a direct input into the design of their school gates.
The branches & leaves extend along a couple of panels on either side of the gates to integrate them with the existing railings.
Size 2.8m high 5.15m long Powder coated mild steel.
