An Allium seed head from my neighbour Pat was used to make this plaster impression. It was pressed into clay, removed, a frame put round and plaster poured over. When the plaster is dry the clay is peeled away to reveal the beautiful raised impression. The technique picks up an incredible amount of detail from the plants to produce a piece of art that can be treasured forever. The process of casting is like preserving a moment in time so that the flowers can be enjoyed long after they have faded away. By adding colour the detail is enhanced & provides a striking contrast to the frames.
Ideal gift for an anniversary, house warming, wedding, birthday or anyone who likes flowers, plants, gardening & nature. The frames come ready to hang, the oak one is handmade, they also look great propped up on a shelf. All my work is signed & numbered as they are limited editions

Plaster, wood. Avoid placing near a heat source or in rooms with lots of condensation. To clean dust lightly
