I work a lot with photography in my botanical & tree prints, they are always combined with multiple layers or texture & colour to create the effect I want. This image is purely a photograph, I love the dramatic effect the inky Black background creates, focusing all your attention on the elements used in the still life. All my life I have collected 'interesting objects' that I liked, with no other use than being part of a collection of beautiful items. It may be the patina, the shape, the form, the proportions or the colour that draws me to them. Most of them are displayed on my shelves at home & I get great pleasure just looking at them. I decided to set up a still life with some of them just to see if I could achieve the effect I wanted........& I did. I now need to go into the loft & find all my other treasures to photograph!

Printed on 230g matt archival paper, & archival inks that will not fade for up to 75 years. The colours are rich & deep with the matt paper giving a velvet appearance to the print. Avoid placing in direct sunlight. Please handle prints carefully as they mark easily
