Product details
Stunning Plaster wall plaque featuring Queen Anne's Lace, Hypericum & Cow Parsley, made with plants from my garden. I am so pleased with the way this plaque has turned out, its really beautiful. This is the first year I have grown Queen Anne's lace & its now my favourite plant! The video below shows part of the making process - having to painstakingly remove over 100 seeds from the clay before casting.
The plaques are made by pressing real seed heads and plants into clay. They are then removed, a frame put round & plaster poured over. When this is dry the clay is peeled away to reveal the 3D impression with an incredible amount of detail. Real flowers are lovely but do not last long, by casting them I am preserving them to be enjoyed forever. Each plaque is signed on the back & have 2 keyhole brackets for hanging on a wall, or look equally good displayed on a shelf. This would be a perfect gift for anyone who loves plants, flowers, gardening or nature, something they can treasure.
Made from
A very hard casting plaster, this item is only suitable for indoor use. Avoid placing near a direct heat source or in rooms with lots of condensation. To clean dust lightly, avoid handling too much as plaster is porus & can absorb oils from your skin.
