A tangle of trees surrounds an old stone arch with a faded Red Rose in the centre. On top perches a menacing bird, guarding the way through the arch..........but to what?
I came across this print, half done from several years ago, left because I didn't know quite what to do with it. If quickly evolved into the fairy tale inspired print. Original fairy tales were often quite dark & gruesome but have been rewritten to make them less frightening for the mass market.
