Product information
Delicate fine art print of an Teasel seed head set against a vintage inspired, sepia background.
It resembles a old, faded, creased & scratched document. This is one of a collection of prints from the 'Botanical Series'. Text about the plant is incorporated in the print. I originally designed the images with the Sepia background, but was inspired by some of my Dads old engineering blueprints to do a faded blue version. There are about 15 species of Teasel, the seeds are an important food for birds in winter. They grow to a height of 1 - 2.5 meters tall.
This would make a perfect gift for gardeners, or anyone who loves nature, the countryside, wild flowers & the landscape.
I do one off commissions if you have a particular plant or flower you would like me to do, please get in touch.
Made from
Printed on 230g matt archival paper, & archival inks that will not fade for up to 75 years. The colours are rich & deep with the matt paper giving a velvet appearance to the print. Avoid placing in direct sunlight. Please handle prints carefully as they mark easily

Delivery
Small prints sent in a hardbacked envelope. Large prints sent in a sturdy cardboard tube. Frames wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap & cardboard. If you order multiple frames I may be able to reduce the shipping costs once they are packed & weighed.
