Up-cycling
I run several up-cycling classes in the Sunderland area, the following pictures are examples of what was produced during the courses.
Old wooden cabinet that had sliding glass doors, the wood was sanded & varnished. The interior was painted a vivid green while a piece of wallpaper featuring an old map was glued onto the centre of the door.
This brown wooden dining table was transformed with some paint, masking tape & cut out images.
The small side table was sanded & varnished to bring out the carved wooden detail.
A plain White table was painted & spider man motifs applied.
Two wooden stools with sea grass woven tops were decorated with paint & wallpaper.
Two plain white chairs were changed simply by painting.
The top of a magazine rack was covered in wallpaper to give it a stylish makeover.
