The handmade Oak frame is available in the natural colour or stained a dark rich Brown. It comes ready to hang but also looks great propped up on a shelf. Do not hang near a heat source or in rooms with lots of condensation.
The plants were pressed into clay, removed, a frame put round and plaster poured over. When the plaster is dry the clay is peeled away to reveal the beautiful raised impression. The technique picks up an incredible amount of detail from the plants to produce a piece of art that can be treasured forever. The process of casting is like preserving a moment in time so that the flowers can be enjoyed long after they have faded away.
