Winter Solstice at Sycamore Gap - Unique Artwork
The infamous tree on Hadrian’s Wall seems to exude a mystical aura. If you can visit it when there is no one else around, when the air is crisp & so still that you can feel yourself moving through it, it is truly magical.
The print is hand finished with either real Gold or imitation Gold leaf, this makes every print unique. The process of creating these prints takes several days & involves lots of stages. I have spent a lot of time experimenting to perfect my technique.
Gold Leaf - I use 23.75 ct
Imitation gold Leaf looks very similar but is actually made from Brass
Mounted Print
Mount size 40.6 x 40.6 cm, Small print 21 x 21 cm £
Mount size 40.6 x 40.6 cm, Large print 30 x 30 cm
Framed Print
Small framed print 48 x 48cm black wood effect frame (small aperture mount, same size frame as the large print)
Large 48 x 48 cm Black wood effect frame
Delivery
Mounted prints sent flat. Frames wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap & cardboard. You will need to sign for these items when delivered
Made from
Printed on 230g matt archival paper, & archival inks that will not fade for up to 75 years. The colours are rich & deep with the matt paper giving a velvet appearance to the print. Printed acetate. Imitation or real Gold Metal Leaf. Avoid placing in direct sunlight. Please avoid touching the actual print before framing.
