I had been waiting through December 2020 for a good weather day to go to Hadrian's wall & photograph the tree at Sycamore Gap in winter. I eventually got my chance & dashed up there as the weather was unpredictable. The usually busy tourist spot was eerily deserted & I only saw one other person while I was there.
Trees look so fragile in their winter skeletal state, being able to see every single twig on their branches. Winter skies can be bold, dramatic & the perfect backdrop for this iconic tree. The background colours range form Purple to Green to Teal with a mottled texture.

Printed on 230 gms Archival matt paper, it gives a lovely velvety appearance with rich deep colours & reduces fading for up to 75 years. Avoid placing in direct sunlight. Please handle prints carefully as they mark easily
